Alhambra Palace Hotel is a recently-renovated historic landmark in Ramallah. Built as a private residence in 1926, it was converted into a hotel in 1947 by the Ramallah Summer Resorts Company, at a time when Ramallah was still a very small town. The hotel enjoys a favorable location that is within walking distance to the town center, yet in a wooded area, facing the Western hills, that provides a beautiful view, shade, and a cooling summer breeze. Until the 1970's, the hotel served as a summer resort for Arab visitors and dignitaries, including kings, princes and ministers. The Hotel hosted many types of events and often accomodated celebrities, and prominent Movie Stars. Among its many conferences was the 1967 Arab Lawyers' Conference.

The Alhambra Palace was built in a Mediterranean villa style with unique elements of Palestinian architecture at the turn of the 20th century. The thick rose-colored stone walls, decorative floor tiles, and beautiful arched windows offer the pleasant feel of an era long gone.

The building enjoys an extensive garden for events. Although Ramallah has grown into a fairly large city, guest will enjoy shopping centers and sook, local restaurants and international fast food.
